Here is a Bargue plate I am currently taking a break from. It is done in charcoal (Nitram and Conte-De-Paris Charcoal Pencil) on Canson Mi-Tientes paper. I spent around 8 hours on this. There are many things that I see that need improvement, but I am curious to see what others think. I will continue with it later. Right now I am tired of looking at it.

One thing I will make a note of, is that I think doing these in charcoal adds a layer of difficulty that I hadn’t anticipated. It is difficult to get thin lines and a lot of the detail in with charcoal. It seems the medium always overdoes it and must be corrected with an eraser.
