Path to Mastery

In episode one, Johanna will be interviewing Iain McCaig, a remarkable artist, writer, and filmmaker. Iain will be sharing with you the beginning of his art career, his creative process between writing, drawing, and music, his love for storytelling, and his tips for getting over any creative blocks.

In episode two, Johanna will be interviewing Miles Yoshida, an outstanding draftsman and sculptor from Long Beach, CA. Miles will be sharing with you his use of ink for crosshatching, his creative routine, and the story behind his famous hand portraits. 

In episode three, Johanna will be interviewing Maudie Brady, an Australian figurative and visual effects sculptor. Maudie will be sharing with you her inspiration, Old Master influences, creative process, training, and teaching experience at the Florence Academy of Art.

In episode four, Johanna will be interviewing Ben Fenske, an exceptional oil painter in the spirit of the 19th and 20th-century impressionists. Ben will be sharing with you his creative routine, inspiration, as well as his opinion on composition, lighting, and painting materials.

In episode five, Johanna will be interviewing Stan Prokopenko, the founder of Proko online art school and the creator of a Youtube channel with over 2 million subscribers. Proko will be sharing with you his experience teaching at Watts Atelier of the Arts, tips on time management, and what to do when you get burnt out creatively.
