Every great drawing begins with gesture or rhythm. These are the lines that connect your forms together and gives your drawings a sense of movement and life.
2. Construction With
Once you have established the gesture, it’s time to use three-dimensional form ideas such as spheres, cylinders, and boxes to build the forms of the figure in a way that feels dynamic and solid.
3. Rendering With
There is no one way to resolve or render your figure drawings, but you need to understand the basic principles of light and shadow. Glenn will show you different approaches to bringing your drawings to a finish including using tone or cross hatching.
