In week five, instructor Stephen Bauman will demonstrate how to transfer your preparatory drawing of the figure to a canvas. You will discover how to translate the crucial information from your study into the painting. Stephen will teach you how to create a color study of the pose. You will use that to evaluate the color notes and values of your final figure painting. Lastly, you will begin the underpainting process.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
