In this lesson, instructor Chris Legaspi will teach you how to handle challenging painting medium; watercolor. You will study the basic concepts of “Alla prima” painting, meaning “at first attempt” in Italian. Chris will show you how to control the bleeding and soaking tendencies of watercolor. From there, you will be able to adjust your composition and be cautious with your application.

You will learn to create lay-ins, mass in value shapes, refine, and render using different mediums.
