In week one, instructor Charles Hu will teach you how to paint a figure with an extended palette. You will discover how to utilize colors in your artwork that improves the dynamic range beyond the Zorn palette. Charles will work on a reclining figure painting with various props included in the setup. You will practice using the real estate of the canvas to create an intriguing composition.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
