In week three, instructor Leo Mancini-Hresko will demonstrate on an intermediate Bargue plate using the Sight-Size method. You will learn how to start your drawing with the block-in of contours and shadow shapes, using straight and simple lines. You will practice moving your eyes back and forth between the positive and negative shapes, in order to achieve a more accurate drawing.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
