In week one, instructor Larissa Brown will walk you through what a picture book is and how one goes about making it. You will learn to identify the story that you want to tell. Larissa will teach you how to pull aspects of stories from the past and make them your own. She will also talk about the traditional and digital materials she uses for her picture books.

Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
