Join NMA instructor Iliya Mirochnik for an 8-week Live Class that takes you from the first thumbnails to a refined narrative illustration. You will learn to design a clear narrative read through the human figure using time-tested illustration methods. Sessions cover composition studies, focal hierarchy, gestures that communicate intent, and selecting the exact story moment. From there, you’ll refine readability with facial expressions and head angles, costuming and fold families, disciplined value planning, simple environments with purposeful props, and intentional edge control. You will complete at least one finished tonal illustration that reads at a glance and rewards close viewing.
