In week six, instructor Renae Wang will introduce you to the fundamental concepts of light logic and value. Learn how to use toned paper to create a visually appealing and realistic sphere using charcoal and white chalk. Renae will provide a detailed lecture on the materials she uses. She will discuss the principles of light and shadow, helping you understand the theory behind the techniques. By the end of this lesson, you will have gained a deeper understanding of the principles of light and shadow in art.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
You do not need to purchase specific materials to take this course.
