Fundamentals of Drawing and Perspective (Live Class)

In this 12-week Live Class, instructor Renae Wang will introduce you to observational drawing and perspective. You will focus on the basic technical skills and materials necessary to create convincing representations of still life’s and environments. Renae will demonstrate how to observe and describe a three-dimensional form on a two-dimensional plane. You will create compositions that convey volume and space. Through this Live Class, Renae will teach you the importance of utilizing lines for measurement, creating a construction drawing, applying linear perspective, and understanding value systems.

In this Live Class, Renae will demonstrate how to create observational drawings and introduce you to perspective drawing. You will focus on the basic technical skills and materials necessary to create convincing representations of still life’s and environments. Through this Live Class, you will watch Renae demos and then you will be given the assignment to complete and submit. In the following session, Renae will give critiques on submitted assignments.
