In this first video lesson of the Drawing Fundamentals series, New Masters Academy instructor Sheldon Borenstein will walk you through an often overlooked but critical aspect of art education for the absolute beginning student. He will teach you how to properly site on a drawing horse, how to sharpen a pencil, how to measure and other core techniques. Do we follow his demo at the same time while looking at the picture?

This is by far, the BEST, most HILARIOUS tutorial I have ever seen. I love this guy – never has somebody so clearly explained what the hell the fundamentals are, while being so bloody funny. Thank you so much NMA!

Are there any plan for adding subtitling?

There’re some points in the video I really can’t hear what’s been said, for the voice is next no nothing.

Kinda frustrating and distracting to have to keep rewind and try figuring out words from the contex.
