Vera, you have made a lot of improvement since your early days posting in this challenge! It’s been quite inspirational going through each post and watching you develop your drawing skills. As someone who is coming from a music performance background, I want to tell you that you should not feel discouraged. Drawing is a skill like playing an instrument. When you first start out, you must learn the fundamentals, like where to place your fingers on the keys or strings and what the musical scales are. You cannot jump into a Beethoven sonata without learning fundamentals first! You are doing it exactly right, practice, practice, practice. That is the only way to improve. Even the best musicians go back and practice their scales and arpeggios. So keep up to good work. 🙂
