    Hi Denny

    Great charcoal technique beautiful drawing

Maybe The darker shadows just need tweaking  I personally find the triangle on the  neck distracting and the shadow behind the chin edge misleading poss just the digital image  very subtle delicate use of charcoal I started practicing drawing July 2020   and find this inspiring .

    Kind regards

    Tim

Lovely painting  Francisco the highlighted left eye really draw me in. Its possibly the digital image ,but maybe the shadow on neck and left face could be little  softer ,also a little more bounced light under her chin .

Maybe you could bring a little of the beautiful  dusky pink up into the head and background and some cools/blues  down into the blouse , really minor touches to what is a lovely portrait lots of expression and life

    Hi Srsanyal

I really like the second portrait more contrast I also really like the composition in the second it’s really arresting very good eyes  , subjectively I feel the composition in the first is not as strong and the tonal values  are less clear to read

Hi Alva  interesting portrait I was wondering if the background could be lighter and warmer particularly the side not in shadow .

    Hope this helps

    Hi Alon

Your skill in painting is obviously good and I really admire your work , my critique would be the subject

Subjectively the  mother seems to be turning away from the child causing a tension

Which for me the beautiful colours and painting  can’t overcome some of it may be the tension in the neck .

    Kind regards

    Tim
