    Are you mixing any linseed oil or other medium into your paint before you begin? It seems like paint from the tube, especially earth tones, are very dense and it takes so much to cover the canvas.

    Thanks for a great lecture. When you are working this approach with the 3-tones, where does the light/shadow from the previous 2-value approach happen? Are the middle tones in the light, so it’s highlights, halftones, and shadow? Or does it depend on the specific art work? Looks like the Cornwell breaks up into light, cast shadow, and shadow? Thanks.
