In this lesson, instructor Renae Wang will assist you in enhancing your capacity to construct geometric and organic objects together in a still-life setup. You will discover how to implement the knowledge you have acquired thus far into a more intricate still-life arrangement. Renae will illustrate how to use enveloping, comparative measuring, and cross-contours to depict this intricate subject. You will also develop an understanding of the negative shapes of a subject.
Throughout this course, you’ll have access to the NMA community for feedback and critiques to improve your work as you progress.
I have been watching the first portion of this course and am wondering, why do I want to know cross contours? Especially cross contours of the pumpkin. I don’t have the slightest idea what is going on there.
Thanks for any advice,
