No longer Isolated

Hi everyone. I’m trying to get more disciplined and study more. It was much harder when I was younger but with a community to interact with and help push me forward, I’m confident that I can get it to work, this time. No man can really be an island, and he is, when I was, improvement wasn’t with me.

I’ve been told that drawing in isolation is a very bad thing, and I think I can attest to that. In it, the negatives piled up, insecurities, panic, and doubt and procrastination melding together to make even worse habits. So thank you New Masters Academy, and other students, for being here. I do believe this sort of structure is far better for me than ‘seat of my pants’ studies.

Hi! I hope you can find all support you need! 🙂  I am here for the same reason. The problem of studying by yourself, at home, is the lack of support and feedback! I hope we all can work together to grow as artists!
