    87 and 88: I find it a great exercise to explore the same portrait in two mediums. It’s hard learning two mediums but the lessons enhance each other.

    Number 89 …first I was happy with her, but then I decided I needed to push it a little further.

    Decided to rip the band-aid off on this one and get posting it out of the way. No happy at all. I was using a gel pen that was all or nothing – there was no controlling for lighter strokes. I decided not to venture into the teeth much lest I ruin them. Still she’s a bit terrifying to look at.
