Day 13:
-Working on Week 5 of Fundamentals of Observational Drawing, starting with the Block-In
I’m not all too familiar with this site as I am pretty new to taking lessons, but it seems like you’re running through the courses a bit fast? If you’re brushing up on courses you’re already very well versed in than that makes more sense but if you are really trying to learn something new or use these courses to get better (I assume that’s what they’re for), I’d say maybe digest them a little slower and don’t speed run them. But the drawings are great and you look like you’re killing it! And good on you for drawing for 6 hours in one day. I wish I was able to do that
I’ve been through the Fundamentals of Observational Drawing course 4 times already, and I’m just doing it again to get the certificate. @Caleb Campbell
Day 17:
-Week 6 of Fundamentals of Observational Drawing, got to work on using values to bring the viewer’s attention to specific elements. Cylinder is slightly truncated, too much cast shadow from the sphere, cube cylinder. Edges are looking nice, got to differentiate the values on the nonagon? to show more form, more highlight on the sphere.
Day 17:
-Felt rush doing Week 6 of BGD but here is the second assignment, felt really confused on how to do this but felt it was a little like a Drawabox.com lesson, where you are wrapping textures around the form. Gotta see what Catherine says, didn’t do that good in my opinion.
Day 20:-Correcting my Week 7 drawing using Iliya’s critiques for Fundamentals of Observational Drawing
