    I am new to NMA and wants to learn how to paint in oil. Been trying a little but it´s really difficult, I find. So hopefully I will get better!

    Welcome! Drawing skills are always the most important so sometimes we think we are struggling with a painting issue when it’s often rooted in a drawing issue.

    Have you started Charles Hu’s Beginning Oil Painting course?

    Yes, I have started his painting course and will try to do the black and white still life over and over until hopefully I get better. Looking at that part right now for the second time! He is really free with the paint and brush and thats really inspirational, to me.
