Thank you Lucas, I really appreciate your comment! Hope one day I will start painting with acrylic but for everyday sketches watercolor or pencils are still easier for me…

hey Elena, you mentioned you’d like to try acrylics. get yourself some black and white and try some value sketches in acrylic..they dont take as long as a full colour study 🙂

Yesterday evening I participated in a very challenging drawing session : we had to sketch the dancers who were constantly moving… It was very difficult and I tried just to capture the gesture without any particular success. I think now that maybe looking for some ballet or another dancing performance would be a great thing to work on gesture on a more regular way.
