    Starting today I will do little exercises with hatching.  Not sure what the subject will be but I will allow it to be whatever I feel like doing as long as it is pen & ink hatching.

    This will help me a lot with my drawing skills.   First day:  watercolour brush rinsing.

    Can’t wait to see what you do! I’ve recently been teaching myself to use a dip pen by doing master studies. Will you be using all technical pens?

    Hello Louise!   I am not sure what “technical pens” are.  I have a bunch of Micron pens and a dip pen (zebra nib) in my pencil case so I will use what I have on hand.    Should be an interesting exercise as I won’t be able to erase!

    It’s great that you’re following the form with your lines. When you feel ready start to get a form lighting effect where you have a light side and shadow side and a core shadow still using the hatching.
