Reilly Method Figure Drawing

We are pleased to share with you a 10-week long class brought to you by Art Mentors! In this class, legendary illustrator Mark Westermoe teaches figure drawing using the Reilly Method. Students will learn how to lay-in the figure, how to simplify and design the anatomy, and how to use light, shadow, and edge control to create 3-dimensional form in their drawings. In this second lesson, Mark continues to work with the lay-in he developed in the previous class. He will show you how to follow a procedure that breaks the drawing into different stages, including: outline, separation of light and shadow, modeling of the planes, and highlights and accents.
