Great work Ariel! I’m looking at that bust right now in the studio – you did a good job.

Those Bargue Plates are tough, even the “easy” ones, but you are handling them nicely.

These are looking good. I like that you are focusing on the construction. Keep going back to the simplest forms and focusing on how all those bigger pieces relate to one another.

At our studio, we mainly work in oil-based clay called JMAC. We prefer this because you don’t need to spray it with water or wrap it and it won’t ever crack or dry out. The only downside is that it is more expensive and that you have to eventually make a mold of it to get something permanent.

 

We will be doing a course soon with sculptor Judy Fox and she will be covering a lot of the basic water-based clay process.

You are able to cast from the video player to AirPlay or Chrome Cast devices.

First make sure you are connected to the same Wi-Fi as the device you want to cast to.

If you are on your phone, make the video full screen, then you should see the cast icon.

@StewartSutherland Sorry you are having this problem! Please provide me with some additional information so we can look into it:

1. Are you having trouble with ALL videos or just some?
2. Please paste the URL to those lessons having problems, note the chapter that is having the error, and let me know what error text is being given.
3. What sort of device/browser are you using?

For many of the lessons, we’ve added specifics about the materials, but there are still some that could use more information.

We definitely have plans to go through our video library and provide exact details on the tools used, where possible.

I’ll see what I can do about getting the information for the beginner series materials for you sooner rather than later.

@SavinaFrancisco Thanks for those links. We are still working on getting them migrated to the new site! I’ll let you know as soon as they have been moved.

As for coaching, we have added a link in the Library dropdown in the top bar that will let you see all of our coaching plans!

Currently we offer the plans during a user’s signup process, but we will also be adding the ability to learn more and join the coaching program from your account page soon.
