I would think it would be cool if there’s a tab on a lesson page where people can post their work resulting from that lesson. Lesson summaries and drawings. (Something like Pinterest has). With this we can learn from eachother fast and comment on our work and progress.

    Hi,

I find it weird to critique, because I’m no expert myself, but these look very good. The line quality is good and (so far I can tell) the proportions as well. I don’t know if I can see it correctly but I believe the shadowshapes aren’t solidly greyed in. I mean that I can see spots in the shadows of lighter grey and white. The Bargue drawings really pop when these shapes are fully greyed in. It takes some work to get this evened out, but the feel of 3d really is more and the endresult will be (even) better.

    hope this helps, Bart

Hi, this looks great! About reading the shapes correctly: I feel that the way the shapes turn away from the pictureplane in the neck aren’t as clear on the (our) left shoulder. The (our) right shoulder reads more clear. So in the left shoulder I don’t know which shapes are in front of which.

    hope this helps! Bart

    Hi,

I find it weird to critique, because I’m no expert myself, but these look good. The last one has great line quality. I would say that the strenght of the line quality in the second aren’t as powerful in the first. The first has great outside lines, but the inside misses some of the power and feeling of 3d. Does this make sense?

    hope this helps, Bart

He explains the hardness of the pencil in the next lesson! It’s HB and 2H!

    Hey there,

In the first Bargue that he draws, does he start with a soft B pencil and ending the bargue with a H?

I would love it if there’s a transcript/subs with every film (English is not my native-language and it’s way easier to follow everything with subs.)

also it would be great if there would be a short list of steps where now is the lesson text for extra help. Sort of a resume/recap?

    thanks!

My God people, You are working on great stuff and the new courses from the last months are great! Very professional productions. I’m so happy. Can’t wait for all the stuff you’re working on.

Might I add Will Weston on the wishlist? He is great with fundamentals and from the entertainment industry.
