I have a lovely set of 1980’s Borciani & Bonazzi – Puro Kolinsky brushes with telescopic brush protectors that my grandmother gave me as a child. I never used them at the time, as I thought they were too good to use. I am considering using them as my watercolour travel kit brushes, but wondered if they are better preserved rather than used at this point?  I can’t seem to find any information on this set anywhere.

    Thanks,

    Jake

That’s a really nice looking set and gift from your grandmother.  Don’t know anything about them but maybe you can email the company about any information on this particular set.  If you do end up using them, I think it would make your grandmother happy knowing that they are being used by you to create art

Thanks wolf cub, that’s great advice and that’s exactly what I did last night. Hopefully they can shed some light on them.
