Self portrait in three chalks – trois crayons

Hi there ! I have been trying to make this self portrait using pierre noire, sanguine and white chalk. I made it on an instinctive mood, and I think I misdraught the eyes and got something wrong with the values, now that I can compare it to master drawings in this techniques. Anyway, I look sunburnt ! Should have used much more black and much less sanguine. I went a bit wild on the cloth, for it was not the main thing I wanted to draw and I wanted it to be finished. Started this morning 11 AM I think, now its 17h30 and I had a break for lunch.

Any advises on the improvements ? I tend to draw the eyes way too big each time, and then I really struggle to change their size as they need very precise lines and I tend to refer alot of the others features according to the size and positionning of the eyes, thus when changing them I feel like it messes up my whole drawing…
