In this series, instructor Chris Legaspi will share with you various ways to render your drawings, using a variety of different materials. In this first lesson of the series, Chris starts with the most basic material, graphite, and shows you how you can use this simple tool to render your drawings beautifully. Chris will demonstrate using photo reference of a female model and a hand.

    Materials

    • Seth Cole Drawing Paper
    • Derwent Graphite Pencils – HB
    • Faber-Castell 9000 Graphite Pencils – 6B

Hey, I think this video got placed in the wrong series. It should be in Rendering Techniques (https://www.nma.art/videolessons/?nma_tax_series%5B%5D=839), but it’s currently in Photoshop for Traditional Artists (https://www.nma.art/videolessons/?nma_tax_series%5B%5D=877).
