    One of the things I’ve been most annoyed with when it comes to digital drawing is how there’s never been a brush that can really accurately mimic a pencil. What I mean specifically is the ability to simulate drawing both on the tip of the pencil and the side of the pencil for shading purposes.

    Am I simply ignorant of such a brush? Does anyone know of a brush that can do that? Or is this something that Photoshop has never been able to do and there are work arounds for it?
