    Something to consider, the hills in the distance are quite close in colour to the trees in the foreground. It might create more depth or distance if they were less green and a bit lighter? Going with the idea of reducing yellow and value with distance?

    So much to like! The overall harmony of color, value and movement; the gradation of the sky, both vertically and horizontally;  the color and shape of the shadows, the texture of the grassland, the subtle loss of detail as things are receding into the distance … very nice! I’m impressed!

    you know what, totally ignore my suggestions, I was trying to find something to critique when actually I love this painting just as it is. Completely agree with Vera.
