    Hi everyone!
    I’m working on this sketch of my new baby cousin and am hoping to transfer it to a canvas and paint it with oil paints. I know I have to add a bit of contrast to the values. I’m looking for some critiques/advice before I start on a canvas!
    I am 100% self taught so I can use all the help I can get.

    Thank you so much for your kind and constructive feedback, Charles! I am definitely going to take your advice and do a colour study as well as a value study. I plan on posting the finished piece soon and would love to hear your feedback!
