Day 45 – another head

Day 46 – I’m feeling less grumpy with myself today and happier with the proportions on this one – 3/4 head

Day 48 – I feel a little glimmer of hope where my perspective and feature placing is concerned…its a nice warm feeling 🙂

Day 50 – Well here it is, half way through on Christmas Eve – this one isn’t finished, and I probably shouldn’t have had that second glass of red wine, but its been a lovely evening anyway…

Day 51 – Christmas day… I got a rather cool present under the tree this year, so I thought I would draw it…

Day 52 – Boxing Day – smiling face today – I think this might be the first time I’ve tried a smile – not easy

Day 53 – One step forwards and two steps back – made a total mess of the face I was trying to draw tonight – so I had to go back to basics….

Day 54 Asaro head looking at light and shadow. I started with just the shadow shape, then added a half tone and finally some light planes

Day 55 – Went digital today following a head painting course by Marco Bucci – big brush strokes, warm shadows and cool lights

Day 56 – Sooo much to learn about Photoshop… but had some fun today… some features…

Day 57 – Loving this caricature by Sebastian Kruger – This is just on newsprint paper so is pretty smudgy – think I’ll have another go on some better paper… New Years Eve tonight – so I’m off to get  glass of bubbly 🙂

Day 58 – Had another go at this caricature with my coloured pencils… The photo loses at lot of the blue/purple tones… need some daylight really…

Day 59 – male face side view

This was supposed to be Tim Robbins – keeping up with the Shawshank theme, but it looks nothing like him. I think the caricature is perhaps more recognisable… hey ho… and on we go…
