Hi to everyone,

I’ve been on NMA for a few months now and have been so busy watching videos and trying things out that I hadn’t even realised that these forums were here – nice to see everyone on here, and great to feel part of this international community.

I have been drawing for about 2 years now and trying to learn in a structured way online – I am fascinated with how I’m getting on, the amount of absolutely awful things I manage to draw, alongside the few that I am really proud of – it is a really exposing process where your failures can’t be hidden which leads to a real emotional roller-coaster. As someone with a science and engineering background it has been  a revelation how much there is to learn, but I’m loving it.
