In this lesson, NMA master draftsman Glenn Vilppu will demonstrate how to use water-soluble graphite pencils. You will learn the unique qualities that this material holds. Glenn will show you how to handle it and lecture on why it is special to him. You will do a series of drawings with the material yourself and see what power you can unlock.

Each week you will be introduced to new materials to break you out of your comfort zone and help you develop skills to make you a more flexible artist. Glenn will also combine previously covered materials and show how you can mix and combine them for powerful results. You will further explore these materials and techniques with assignments that Glenn will critique in forthcoming sessions.

Certificate details will be announced mid-way through the term.
