There are several ways to get feedback at NMA. Use this quick portal to get the right kind of feedback that you need on your Path to Mastery.

    Assignment Feedback (Interactive)

    Get written notes or a short video review on your NMA assignment. Interactive works ONLY for courses and modules with Interactive Feedback enabled (Drawing Foundations, Figure Drawing I, and the first part of Painting Foundations). Learn more: https://live.nma.art/interactive-courses/

    Goals
    • Get targeted corrections tied to specific course objectives
    • Confirm you’re meeting assignment requirements and prerequisites
    • Identify next steps to progress efficiently through the module

    Group Critique Session (Crits.NMA.art)

    Upload any personal artwork (original pieces or studies based on NMA assignments), then choose preferred coaches and get a live critique on Google Meet. You'll receive the Meet link when your session is claimed. A recording is posted afterward.

    Goals
    • Get a fast, outside perspective on a piece or series
    • Hear multiple coach viewpoints with clear, actionable next steps
    • Strengthen presentation and clarity of intent before your next revision

    What to prepare (so you’re ready on the next page)
    • The artwork you want reviewed
    • A short note for the coach about your goals or questions

    Note: If you submit work derived from course assignments, NMA coaches and instructors will critique using their knowledge of the course and their own experience. Crits are not evaluated directly against a course rubric and may differ from Interactive Feedback expectations.

    1:1 Master Mentorship

    Ongoing, twice-monthly coaching to accelerate your growth. Expect a custom study plan, portfolio guidance, and direct feedback in each session.

    Goals
    • Build a structured plan aligned to your long-term goals
    • Develop a strong, cohesive portfolio or body of work
    • Gain accountability, consistent critique, and career-focused guidance
